We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2025, at the age of 71, John Cecil Armsworthy of Canso, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Armsworthy and Dorothy Armsworthy (Rice) of Canso; his son Gordon; his stepmother Ruth; and his siblings, Seaward "Junkie" and Annette "Dolly".

He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Cole); his son Benjamin (Lacey); his grandchildren, James, Amber (Terry), Monica, Marcus and Maura; his great grandchildren, Blake and Bryer; his siblings, Adrian (Mary Isabel) of Canso, Valley of Canso, Eric (Marg) of Canso, Finley (Irene) of Canso and Patricia (Jim); and his stepsister Loretta Lambourne (Gregor).

Donations can be made to Star of the Sea Parish or to Canso/Hazel Hill Fire Department.
