He was predeceased by: his parents, Pius Trainor and Elizabeth Trainor (Deininger); his significant other Veronica (Steele); his sons, Michael and Freddie; his son-in-law Bernie Barter; his siblings, Milton, Bernie, Freddie, Murray, Gregory, Patricia and Blanche; his stepsister Minnie; and his siblings-in-law, Willena, Gertie (Ernie), Anne (Larry), Michael and Douglas.
He is survived by: his children, Pius (Christine), T. J., Elizabeth Hines (Dean), Christine Hines (Chris), Justine O'Grady (Mike), Mary Margaret 'Peggy MacDonald (Kenny), Bernadine Trainor (Kim), Norma Barter and Alana Trainor (Toni); and his siblings-in-law, Kaye Ford and David Ford. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
With the support of the staff there, dad was able to maintain his level of social activity until unfortunately COVID came into our lives.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tommy, may be forwarded to the VON Adult Day program, Kings Road, Sydney.
