He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bethune and Iola Bethune (Harding); and his siblings, Marion, Helen and Orman.
He is survived by: his wife Betty (Prime); his children, Donna (Geoff) of Alberta, Mitchell (Beverley) of Yarmouth and Twyla (Tommy) of Hebron; his grandchildren, Aaron Petruic (Adrian), Ainsley, Macy Bethune, Rory and Brogan O'Brien; and his sister Linda Hilton (Mike).
