With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harvey William Gillard (Catalone, Nova Scotia), born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 2, 2022 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lancelot Garfield of Newfoundland and Bessie Rhoda Gillard (Butts) of Newfoundland; and his siblings, Lillian (Parker), Evanglene (Godfrey), Basil, Lloyd and Wally.

He is survived by : his sisters, Joyce (Peeters) of Ont, Betty Gillard of Ont and Carol Ann Hiscock; his cousin Kitchener; and his nephew Harvey Gillard Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
