He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard O. Goodman and Emerald L. Goodman (Kelly) of Ontario; his sister Marjorie Butler; and his brothers-in-law, Victor Butler and Richard Spahn.

He is survived by : his wife Vera E. Goodman (Myatt); his children, Deborah E. Goodman and Wade A. Goodman (Susan); his grandchildren, Joshua O. Carther, Anthony G. Carther, Michaella L. Goodman and Billtown; and his siblings, Violet Beech (Ross), Annette Spahn, Clifton Goodman, Winston Goodman (Linda) and Judy Corbin (Louis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
