He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Curtis and Cassie Curtis (Stanfield); his wife Linda; his siblings, Wallace (Ruth), Wilson (Alma), Pearce, Maggie Ledrew (Roy Way Sr.), Ethel O'Dea, Gloria Curtis, Evelyn Miller and Marie Walsh (Clifford); and his brother-in-law John Pollard.
He is survived by: his sons, Terry Curtis (Jenn) and David; his grandchildren, Ethan and Rhys (Emma); his sister Esther Pollard; and his sister-in-law Vernette Curtis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
