It is with sadness that the passing of Florence Amy James (Cherry Brook, Nova Scotia) is shared. Florence, born on November 21, 1937, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rita James (Evans) and George James Sr.; and her grandparents, A. W. Evans and Jean Evans. She is survived by: her grandson Lyric Darnell; her daughter Sharma Katheryn Colley Jackson; her son-in-law Charles Jackson; her grandson Lyric Darnell Allen W. James; her siblings, George Jr., Regina, Diane, Primrose, Mesi, Elizabeth and Janice Beals (Murphy); and her godchildren, Peter Evans and Melinda Diggs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Beginnings Ministries (26 Cherry Brook Rd, Cherry Brook, NS B2Z1A8). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
