With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Victor James Riley (Cherry Brook, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Victor James Riley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Riley (States) and James M. Riley; his siblings, Sylvia and Thomas; his nephews, Daniel Riley and John Drummond; and his close friend Anthony Riley.
He is survived by: his children, Evelina, Victoria (Halifax), Steven Johnson (Dartmouth), Ezekiel Sparks (Hammonds Plains) and Dakota Allison (Truro); his siblings, Elizabeth Drummond (Gilford), Lena O'Malley (Brien), Regina Bishop (Henry), Cynthia of Montreal, Brenda of Lake Loon, William "Billy" and David Wyse of Vancouver; his aunt Mona Sparks; his daughter-in-law Rachelle Sparks; his sister-in-law Frances Riley; his mother-in-law Evelyn Sparks; and his close friends, Michael Riley, Michele Sparks, Fulton Grant, Arnold Sparks, Parker Sparks and Glenn Sparks. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cherry Brook United Baptist Church (331 Cherry Brook Rd, Cherry Brook, NS B2Z1A6).
