Linda Hatt Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Linda Hatt (Chester Basin, Nova Scotia), who passed away, on September 27, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon; her parents, Lailah Johnson (Kaizer) and William Johnson; her sister Frances Lantz (Johnson); and her half-siblings, Muriel Carver, Mary Kaizer, Edna Johnson, David Kaizer, Kerry Kaizer and Kenny Kaizer.

She is survived by: her children, Lawrence and Lucy (Ken); her granddaughter Chantal (Scott); her great grandchildren, Sadie and Savannah; her siblings, Pat Mingo (Donnie), Clyde Johnson (Nancy), Gold River and William Johnson; and her half-sister Melvina Hynick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Anglican Cemetery.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the South Shore Chapter of Autism Nova Scotia or the Canadian Cancer Society in Linda's memory.
