She was predeceased by: her husband George Brison of Cheverie; and her parents, Ralph Rose and Alice Rose (Grippen). She is survived by: her grandfather Dexter Rose; her children, Paul Brison, Doreen Bursey Cheverie (Jeff), Lois Brison-Brown Halifax (Paul) and Gregory Brison Cheverie (Maxine); her brother Donald Rose; her sister-in-law Peggy Ann of Monroe; her grandchildren, Laura-Jane Ayling, Alice-Dawn Stevens, Jeanette LeBlanc, Andrew Bursey, Lynn Peart, Mark Bursey, Oliver Brown, Meredith Brown, Emma Brown, Elizabeth Sanford, Frederick Brison and Samuel Brison; and her nephews, Rod Rose, Scott Rose and Donald Hernandez. She is also survived by great nephews and cousins across the US and many nephews and nieces.
