He was predeceased by: his father Forman Stoddard; and his siblings, Ernest Stoddard, Allen Stoddard, Felton Stoddard, Leona Crowell (Franklin Crowell) and Marsha Stoddard.

He is survived by: his wife Sherrill Stoddard (Symonds); his children, Brian C. Stoddard (Harbour) and Lisa Smith (Harbour); his sisters, Margaret Penney (Leslie Penney), Darlene Stoddard and Julie Robins; his grandchild Kelsie Smith; and his sisters, Evelyn Smith and Harbour. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in his name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
