Bruce Minard Atkinson Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bruce Minard Atkinson of Clarks Harbour, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Atkinson and Evelyn Atkinson (Freeman); his wife Rhoda Mae; his granddaughter Shannon Mae Knowles; and his siblings, Freebert, Paul and Jeanne.

He is survived by: his children, Douglas Atkinson, Davis Atkinson of Clark's Harbour, Susan Christie (Paul), Deborah Knowles and Barrington Passage; his grandchildren, Deven, Meghan, Morgan and Conor; his great grandchild Rhoda; and his siblings, Herbert "Hubbie", Roger, Gaye and Arlene. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the United Baptist Stone Church.
