It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erminie Atwood of Clarks Harbour, Nova Scotia, born in Clam Point, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah Hunt and Leona Hunt; and her siblings, Rosland, Belinda, Hazel, Leland, Leeandrew and Clardon.

She is survived by: her husband Merle Malcolm Atwood Sr.; her children, Wanda Amirault (Warren), Newellton, Merle Jr. Atwood (Sheila), Trena Atwood (Billy Nickerson) and Oak Park; her grandchildren, Charity Chase (Gilson), Nathan Nickerson (Pam), Jacey Atwood (Nick Brown) and Kaitlyn Nickerson; her great grandchildren, Malcolm, William Nickerson, Callie, Blakey Chase and Madeline Brown; her stepgranddaughter April; her mother-in-law Pauline Atwood; and her siblings, Dorothy Smith, Maryanne Brannen (Alfred), Margaret Hunt, Gerald Hunt and Norman Hunt (Ruth).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
