He was predeceased by: his sister Karen Thompson (Bill); his father Milford Hopkins; and his brother Romie. He is survived by: his mother Nettie Hopkins; his brother Gary Hopkins; his sibling's children, Wayne Hopkins (Tricia), Billie Jo Thompson (Katie), Tanya Thompson and Natasha Hopkins; and his great-nieces, Bailey, Eleanor and Hope Hopkins.
