It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Randall Ross (Clyde River, Nova Scotia), born in Cape Negro, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 20, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy; and his siblings, Jarius, Burnley, George, Allison and Leah Smith (Ross).

He is survived by: his parents, Captain William L. and Anna "Jenny" Ross (Smith); his son George; his grandson Nathan; and his sister Alva Jean Jones of Niagara Falls. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
