She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Reta Shay (Mark); her daughter Abbey; her great-nephews, Nate and Hayden; her siblings, Linda Covert (Mike) and Allan Shay (Angela); her brother-in-law Rick Mahar (Sandy); her aunt Connie Shay (David); her uncle Stephen Meldrum Dartmouth (Marcia); her father Francis "Frank" Shay of Berwick; her sister Barbara Ann Shay Mahar; her aunt Colleen Shay; her uncle Sackville; her grandparents, Arthur, Dorothy Davis, Thomas and Lillian Shay; and her friend Kelly. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the White Family Funeral Home (100 Cornwallis St, Kentville, NS B4N 2E4).
