He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward and Beatrice Maude; his son Todd Graves; his siblings, Donald Graves and Joan Burgess; and his pet Teaka.
He is survived by: his close friend Janet Bennett; his children, James Graves, Christopher VanKippersluis, Harold "Sam" Graves, Katherine, Brenda Graves, Lisa Graves and Melissa Graves; and his sister Pearl Fraser.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Coldbrook Baptist Church (1392 S Bishop Rd, Coldbrook, NS B4R1B7).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory can be directed to Berwick Food Bank.
