She is survived by : her children, Dereck (Janet), Kevin, Timothy (Vonda) and Leslie (Larry Coone); her grandchildren, Matthew Abell and Katrina Card; her sister June (Doucette); her brother-in-law John Strum; and her godson Yuri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Haliburton Place.
