It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Helen Bissett of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry MacIntosh and Mary Isabel MacIntosh (Ross); her husband Stewart of Farmer's Markets; her grandson Sebry; and her siblings, Ross, Bert, Eddy, Archie, Gerry, Billy, Jimmy and Jane.
She is survived by: her children, William (Bernadette) of McKay Section, Beverlee of Dartmouth, Henry of Cole Harbour and Bernice (Phillip Nunn) of McKay Section; her grandchildren, Thomas, Lisa, Stephanie and Stacey; her great grandchildren, Austin, Logan, Bailey, Robert, Charlotte, Jack, Alex, Lily, Olivia, Elaina and Luka; and her sister Mary Russo (New Hampshire) of Conway. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cole Harbour Rural Heritage Society or Cole Harbour Woodside United Church.
