It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Charles Hughes (Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia), born in London, London, who passed away on March 29, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Hughes and Ray Hughes (Kearley); his former life partner Janette; his wife Christina; and his siblings, Raymond and Alice.
He is survived by : his children, David (Margo) of Sherwood Park, AB, Jonathan (Tammy) of Pitt Meadows, BC, Angela Goss (Ben) of Shelby, Alabama and Katherine van der Rijt (Terry) of Mineville, NS.; his grandchildren, Sara (Sol), David, Kate (Alex), Jake (Kelly), Phil (Robyn), Rachel, David C., Tyler (Samantha) and Kelsey (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Samantha, Jessica, Joseph, Anna Grace and Anastasia.
