She was predeceased by : her former life partner Rup L. Joshi; and her son Vikas. She is survived by : her son Rajesh; her daughter-in-law Pankaj; her grandchildren, Sachin and Jaya of Westmount, NS.; and her husband India.

In lieu of flowers, any possible donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
