She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonathan Dorey and Kathleen Dorey; her siblings, Bruce Dorey (Colleen), Gloria MacNeill, Louise Dorey and Beatrice Dorey; and her daughter Christine Williams.
She is survived by: her sister Laverne Dorey (Kentville); her children, Valerie Glazier (Dartmouth), Joyce Nifort (Montague Gold Mines) and Lewis Williams (Dartmouth); and her grandchildren, Laura (Chester) and Michael of Cold Lake, AB. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she created colourful facemasks to keep everyone safe.
