William Gerard Hearn Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Gerard Hearn of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Matthew Hearn and Anna Bernice Hearn; and his brother Thomas (Sharon). He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Rob (Laura) and Sarah Carmichael (Gaius); his grandchildren, Lucas, Olivia Hearn, Chloe and Declan Carmichael; his siblings, Carol McNamara (late Maurice), Wendy Digout (Leon), Vernon (Terry) and Clement; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Blair and Susan Newman (Michael). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint John Xxiii Church (35 Colby Dr, Dartmouth, NS B2V 1N7).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made to the ALS Society of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
