It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha (Oconnor) MacNeil of Creignish, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Archie A.; her grandson Isaac; her parents, May Jane and Joe O'Connor; and her siblings, Babe, Buddy, Kay, George, Lloyd, Bonnie, Pat and Josephine.
She is survived by: her children, Geraldine (Garry), Sandy (Peggy), Curtis (Sharon), Glen (Anita), Warna (Henry) and Morley (Charlotte); and her siblings, Betty, Gordie, Jake and Charlie. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made to The Recreation Department of the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home or to The Martha Mac Neil Nursing Scholarship Fund at the Port Hawkesbury Credit Union after January 5, 2023.
