It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lewis Hayne (Cross Roads Country Harbour, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 25, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Hayne and Greta Hayne (Mason); his siblings, Eugene and Tracey; his sister-in-law Margie Hayne; his niece Janna Hayne; and his aunts and uncles, Vera Feltmate (Merritt), Edgar Mason, Earl Mason (Bertha), Wesley Mason, Bob White, Louise Harris (George), Maggie Arsenault, Ted Hayne (Annie), John Hayne (Elsie) and Critch Hayne (Evelyn).
He is survived by: his children, Melanie Hayne (Mike Archibald), Ian (Tara) and Dylan; his grandchildren, Rohen, Ada, Ashton, Abby and Greta; his siblings, Eric (Julie Fenton) of Country Harbour, Danny (Lynn) of Country Harbour, Bradley (Wendy) of Country Harbour, Alan (Wanda), Carrolls Corner, Ruth Long (Bryant) of Antigonish, Carol (Dale Hubley) of Antigonish and Marla MacLean (Colin) of Antigonish; his close friend Teresa Langille; his uncle Victor Mason (Elizabeth); and his aunts, Shirley Mills (Harlie) of Ontario, Roxie Mason of Ontario and Maxine White. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
