Brian Reid Benedict Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Reid Benedict of Currys Corner, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick "Raymond" Benedict and Kathleen Agnes Benedict (Baxter); his siblings, Andrea Benedict, Marilyn Symms, Gloria Gormley, Sharon Benedict, Patricia Dearman and Gary Benedict; and his sister-in-law Lou Ann Harvey.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Benedict (Harvey); his daughters, Lisa Johnson (Mike), Jennifer Benedict (Ivan), Indian Brook and Melissa Benedict; his grandchildren, Ivan Knockwood Jr. of Indian Brook, Kota Knockwood (Skye) of Indian Brook, Shaylin Johnson of Falmouth and Connor Johnson (Becca) of Falmouth; his great grandchild Kota Jr. Knockwood-Denny (Indian Brook); his siblings, Gerald Benedict (Debbie) of Curry's Corner, Lynn Benedict and Dawn McCulloch (Curtis); his siblings-in-law, Jocelyn Wardrope (Ralph), Cynthia Young, Pamela MacDonald (Bob), Deanna Harvey, Bruce Harvey (Jean), Perry Harvey (Cathy) and Kirby Harvey (Connie); and his daughter Queenies.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Croix Hall (18 Cemetery Rd, Saint Croix, NS B0N2E0).
