Adam Sherman O'Brien Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Adam Sherman O'Brien of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Bedford, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2025 at the age of 45. He is survived by: his parents, Gloria Sherman-O'Brien and Richard O'Brien; his significant other Lisa MacDonald; his children, Oliver and Norah O'Brien; his sister Sarah O'Brien (Matt); his niece Zoey Margison; and his extended family, Gayle, Terry, Shane, Karen and Nate.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Brightwood Golf & Country Club (227 School St, Dartmouth, NS B3A2Y5).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the QE II Cancer Centre (we thank them for their devotion and care – they truly loved and supported him), Hospice Halifax (in gratitude for their beautiful love and care at the end), the Dartmouth Whalers Mary Beth; Chaulk Fund, or Litters 'n Critters Rescue Society.
