He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Murphy and Suzanne Murphy (Benteau); his children, Elizabeth Cooke and Daniel; and his siblings, John, Michael, Placid, Eugene and Paulette.
He is survived by: his stepbrother Tommy Nordkap (Catherine Joudrie). He is also survived by many Nieces & Nephews.
