He was predeceased by: his father John Geoffrey Gaskin; his brother-in-law John Reid; and also, Patricia, Bob Reid and Andrew Gaskin.
He is survived by: his mother Dorothy E. Gaskin (Lloyd); his wife Janet; his children, Jennifer (Hitesh) and Jonathan; his grandchildren, Nirvaan and Krishna; and his siblings, Gary (Suzanne) of Moncton, Allistar (Debby) of West Vancouver, BC, Peter (Erin) of Halifax and Carolyn (Todd) of Halifax. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First United Church (7964 Nova Scotia Trunk 7, Musquodoboit Harbour, NS B0J2L0). A reception will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
