He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewan Chand Vig and Shanti Devi Vig (Telwar); and his brother Moti Lal Vig. He is survived by: his significant other Marguerite; his children, Sonita Vig and Ajay Vig; his grandchildren, Gabe Vig and Maia Vig; and his sisters, Inder Mohani Sibal, Prem Lata Thapar and Shoba Rani Puri.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cole Harbour Funeral Home & Crematorium (1234 Cole Harbour Rd, Cole Harbour, NS B2V1N2).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Amrit's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
