The passing of Anna Jeanette (MacLean) Byers of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 22, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh A. MacLean and Annie MacLean (MacInnis); her siblings, Mary Irene and Donnie MacLean; her niece Stephanie Anne; and her siblings-in-law, Maurice, Tommy, Denton and Heather.
She is survived by: her children, Leanne (Neal) of Lake Oswego, Jason (Melody) of Dartmouth, NS and Aron; her grandchildren, Jacob, Noah, Hannah, Grace, Brady and Simon; and her siblings, Marie (Lorne), MacIntyre (Theberge), Tena Ehler, Irene Ellard, Shirley Landry (Reg), Patricia Gouthro (Jeckie), Hughie (Liz), George (Irene) and Eugene (Joyce). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Dartmouth Funeral Home (29 Queen St, Dartmouth, NS B2Y1E9). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Thomas More Church (15 Caledonia Rd, Dartmouth, NS B2X1K7).
