She was predeceased by : her mother Beatrice; her husband Robert "Bob" Purdy; and her siblings, Ruth Elder (Stan) and Dr. Edward Hartley (Vivian). She is survived by : her sons, David Purdy (Debby), Cole Harbour and Steven Purdy; and her granddaughter Kristin Purdy.

“I didn't know your mother well, but she was my 1st cousin. My father was Ted Burns who was Anne's uncle. He died last year at 102 years. My sister is Christine Burns who resides in Fredericton. She used to sit with you boys when you were young. If it's possible, we want to come to your mothers funeral tomorrow. Our deepest sympathy, Bonnie Burns Cameron.”
