She was predeceased by: her mother Nellie Bonnevie; her husband Robert Parnell (Bobby); her sons, Jimmy and Randy; and her grandson Mathew.
She is survived by: her boyfriend William Parker (Bill) of Dartmouth; her children, Robert Parnell (Janice), Darlene Hiltz (Lenny) and J. D. Parnell (Darek); her grandchildren, Nathan Parnell, Danielle Parnell (Nick), Jessica Hiltz-Ward (Blake), Clarissa Hiltz-Kaizer (Branden), Jacqueline Hiltz (Drew) and Tiffany; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Karney, Hazel Hiltz, Carter Ward, Emma Snape and Cody.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Dutch Settlement Anglican Church. A committal service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:45 AM to 11:55 AM at the St. George's Anglican Cemetery (1089 NS-277, Dutch Settlement, NS B2S2J6).
