Barbara McDonald Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara McDonald (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 23, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Battiste and Rebecca Jane Battiste; her husband Kenneth McDonald; and her siblings, Florence, Georgie and Eric.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Black (Robert) of Dartmouth, NS and Brenda Sparkes (Arnold); her grandchildren, Jane Wood (Dave) of Pembroke, ON, Rebecca Wheaton-Sparkes (Teesha), Michael Black, Dominique Gravel and Finland; her great grandchildren, Väinö, Ahti, Mielikki and Finland; her sibling's children, Faye and Fred Foote of Sackville, NS; her friend Vera Ings; and her pet Olivia.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice, but Barbara would say just be kind to everyone.
