He is survived by: his parents, Bernard Smith and Luella Smith (Hayes); his wife Carol Smith (Ring); his children, Trena Vanderhorst (Scott) of Calgary, AB, Chris Smith, Candice Redman (Jamie) and Dartmouth; his grandchildren, Schuyller, Kaleb, Myla, Meredith and Jade; and his siblings, Glenna Smith and Ken Smith (Ginnie) of Quispamsis, NB. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
