It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernice Waters of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Carbonear, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Furey and James Furey; her husband Stanton Waters; and her siblings, Peter, Patrick, Mike, Frank Furey, Mary Short, Kathleen Furey, Calla Higdon and Helen Furey.

She is survived by: her children, Rosalind Dobson (John), Joanne McKay (Jim), Peter LaChance (Shannon) and Wade Furey (Sandra); her sister Anna Hayter; her grandchildren, Evan, Jenna, Connor, April, Charlie, Holly, Laura, Peter and Melissa; and her great grandchildren, Oscar, Addilyn and Brody.

Due to Covid-19 limit, Bernice's funeral service will be livestreamed.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA, Dartmouth.
