It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burnie MacArthur of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan MacArthur and Estella MacArthur (Lyness); his wife Kathleen MacArthur; his siblings, Les, Alex, Jim and May Mothersell; his granddaughter Laura Evans; and his son-in-law David Lever.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Lever and Marilyn Evans (Rick); his grandchildren, Vanessa Dubyk (Brandon) and Colin Evans; and his great grandchildren, Lochlan Dubyk and Ewan Dubyk.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9). A reception will be held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:45 PM to 4:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Dartmouth Hospital Foundation.
