He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Kilgar and Olive Kilgar (Cooper); his wife Bonnie Logan; his son Jason Kilgar; his grandson Liam Church; and his sister-in-law Helen Ells.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Kilgar and Janis Kilgar (Terry Stride); his brother Gary Kilgar (Arlene Dugas); his grandchildren, John Church, Kai Church and Jase Stride; his stepdaughter Tanya Gratto (Mike); his stepgrandson Justin Gratto; and his sisters-in-law, Betty MacAulay and Marion Greensides.

Due to Covid restrictions, no service will be held at this time.

Donations in memory may be made to the Renal Dialyses Unit at Dartmouth General Hospital, the SPCA, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
