She was predeceased by : her father David Smith; her grandparents, Peter, Ida Downey, Oscar and Rachel Smith; her father-in-law Louis Beals; and her godmother Bernice Smith-McGarth.

She is survived by : her spouse Archy Beals; her children, Patrice (Jereko), Letteisha, Kaya (Taysean), BiBi, Kehlani and Kimaya; her siblings, Caroline Sparks (Rickie), Craig and Greg; her mother-in-law Laura Beals; her sister Marcella Williams (Lorne); her siblings-in-law, Howard (Debra), William (Donna), Wade, Spencer (Victoria), Nelson (Patricia), Donald (Grant), Dwayne (Tina), Elizabeth (Murphy), Juanita (Paul), Patricia and Pearlene Downey; her godfather Alvin Downey; her godchildren, Coty Zachariah, Marchello Williams, Pearlena Grant, Jasman Beals, Natajia Grant, Jalen Simmonds, Roberto Beals and Twila Downey; and her godmother Noella Downey. She is also survived by ses her mother, husband, children and grandchildren.
