She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Blackburn and May Blackburn (Goldie); and her siblings, Eric Blackburn, Evelyn Newman, William and James Blackburn.

She is survived by: her sons, Alfred (Cynthia Maillet) and Leonard (Deborah); her grandchildren, Kaeleb, Gabriel and Landyn; and her siblings, Leslie Blackburn and Lorna Waterfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
