Ackman (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), born in Guelph, Ontario, who passed away on July 10, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Sturgeon (McDowell) and Chester Arthur McKinnon; her husband Bob Ackman; and her sister Marion Brydon. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth K. Ackman of Toronto and Margaret L. Ackman of Edmonton; her grandchildren, Matthew, Charlotte (Maclean), Midori and Michiko (Tsuyuki); her sibling's children, Christine Vanderloo, Jeffrey Brydon, Robert and Andrew Macdonald; and her friend Helen Rafuse.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace United Church or a charity of choice.
