She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie D Chisholm and Mary Jessie Chisholm (MacDonald); her significant other Stanley Sampson; and her siblings, John Chisholm, Margaret Gillis "Peg", Tina MacDonald and Mae MacDonald.

She is survived by: her children, Melvin Sampson (Ruby), Doreen Meider (John), Nancy Tomes (Wayne) and Donna Mann (Richie); her sister Christine Naugler; and her grandchildren, Sonya, Shelly, John, Bob, Cathy, Natalie, Maisie, Terri, Marlee and Kelly. She is also survived by her 14 great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
