He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Howard and Mary Vivian Parker (Harvey); and his former wife Linda (Warren). He is survived by: his wife Shan Dalton (Shirley Ann); his children, Christy Wheeler (Darren), Stuart Parker, Deborah Newell (Brian) and Jeffery Parker; his stepchildren, Lisa Giles (Lenny) and Branden Duffy; his siblings, Donna Gazdik (Jim) and Ellis Parker (Heather); his grandchildren, Brenden, Ian, Justin, Samantha, Tessa, Kristal, Kyle (Breonna) and Kait (John); and his nieces, Sheri, Laura, Elisa and Erin.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Nova Scotia.
