He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Gloria Vincent (Goodhew); his sisters, Marion Erdman and Shirley Delouche; and his parents, Hazel Cora Moore and Hayward Vincent.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Chester Vincent and Susan Joyce Vincent; and his grandchildren, Hayley Joyce Brown and Dylan Steven Frederick Charlton. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, neighbours, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Homes (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Church (61 Dundas St, Dartmouth, NS B2Y4H5). A reception was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Dartmouth Memorial Gardens (767 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9).
Their love was reflected not only in the happy years they shared, but also in the devotion Chester showed when Joyce became chronically ill with Parkinson's disease.
