He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Bowie and Rhoda Bowie (Stubbert); and his brother James Roderick Bowie. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bowie (Wentzell); his children, Heather Ezurike (Uchenna) and Michael; his grandchildren, Amarachi, Onyeka, Tobenna and Kanayo Ezurike; his brother Dennis Bowie (Ann Marie); his sisters-in-law, Sonia Bowie, Cathy Wentzell and Dartmouth; and his sibling's children, Mark, Andrea, Mary Beth, Erica and Kristin.
