He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Purdy and Port La Tour; his son Christopher Jr.; his niece Jennafer Purdy; and his brother-in-law Howard Siteman.
He is survived by: his close friend Karen Atkinson; his son Matthew; and his siblings, Judith Siteman, Candace Agnew (Greg), J. Malcolm Purdy and Rev. John Purdy (Laura). He is also survived by 6 nieces, 2 great nieces, and 2 great nephews.
