He was predeceased by: his sisters, Irene Brind, Amour Houle and Madeline Houle. He is survived by: his children, Eric Brind (Carrie-Ann), Amour and Mary-Elizabeth Irwin (Cdr Troy); his grandchildren, Timothy, Amy, Emily Brind, Amour, Meredith, Rachael, Naomi and Lauren Irwin; his siblings, Gilles (Estelle), Paul (Lize), Alice Middlestead (Pierre), Andre (Alana), Hubert "Bob" (Linda), Francine Dupuis (Maurice) and Pierre (Carole); and his husband Claude. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
