He was predeceased by : his parents, Victor Smith and Irene Smith (Crowell); and his siblings, Allen Smith and Lucille Newell. He is survived by : his nieces, Gwendolyn, Wendy, Georgina and Norma; and his brother-in-law Wilbert Newell (Jewel Atwells).

In keeping with Covid guidelines the seating will be limited with immediate family taking priority.
