She is survived by: her parents, Patrick Askew and Geraldine Askew; her sister Marina Askew of Dartmouth; her niece/goddaughter Olivia Askew of Timberlea; her niece Chanelle Jordan of Timberlea; her stepsisters, Lorna Long (Jim) of Ft. McMurray Alberta, Shannon Cowan (Jeff) of Bath NB and Peggy Macdonald of Halifax; her brother Michael Askew (Tammy) of Timberlea; her stepbrothers, Stephen Power (Deanna) of Dartmouth and Billy Macdonald of Halifax; her nephews, Michael James Askew (Hannah) of Halifax and Austin Askew of Halifax; and her foster father Rev. Jim Underwood (Judy) of Sackville.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home (2666 Windsor St, Halifax, NS B3K5C9).
