He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemmie Simmonds and Adeline Simmonds (Downey); his daughter Tara Morton; and his siblings, Crystal Simmons and Hastings Simmons.

He is survived by: his friend Patricia Beals; his children, Domonic Beals, Tyler Morton, Courtnell Downey, Jasman Beals, Kyle Pellow, Rodrego Beals, Tekio Morton, Tyquell Morton, Treno Morton, Amari Downey, Treika Morton, Chantal Robertson, Letitia Pellow, Shaelene Downey and Patrice Beals; his siblings, Leroy Downey (Alfreda), Murphy Simmons (Elizabeth), Clemmie Jr. Simmons (Wanda), Albert Downey (Ann), Angelo Wright (Dawn), Michael Wright, Victoria Simmons, Wanda Williams (Victor) and Wanque Simmons; his niece Natasha Grant; his godchildren, Chenal Beals, Clemmiesha Simmons and Jaylen Simmons; and his close friends, Walter Simmons Jr., Rickey Downey, Bruno Simmons, Earl Fraser Jr., Jason Downey, Mikey Simmons, Feduel Cain, Ian Whynder, Janice Dunphy and Heather Simmons. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
